The next Presidential election will be held on November 3, 2020. it is an important event in the life of citizens of america.before elections commence,candidates from the democrat party or republican party choose a candidate to represent them as their flagbearers before the date of elections are set.they undergo a rigorous process of selection and their antecedence is subjected to scrutiny.if candidates are found to have been convicted of murder or fraud they are made to step down for a candidate to emerge to represent them.
debates are held for candidates to address the audience on their campaign policies how they intend to cater for the welfare of citizens.

To win the election, a candidate must receive a majority of electoral votes. In the event no candidate receives the majority, the House of Representatives chooses the President and the Senate chooses the Vice President.
