i wanna share this testimony with you,there ias still power in the name of Jesus!
Last year I was going for a conference. Was so much in a hurry I forgot my files.We were supposed to be conveyed by the organisation’s big bus.I had to leave the people there and go back home to fetch my files.I was so upset and disappointed with myself.
I got back, snatched up the files right where I left them on the Couch.And rushed out to try meet up. But by the time I got there,the bus was gone! A cab approached and I didn’t even look at the driver and hopped in. The driver was going at such a high speed I told myself this man certainly understands the meaning of hurry!
But then he suddenly left the road and took another route. I was alarmed,I dismissed my fear with the hope that he knows the shorter way to get there faster.
Then he pulled up at a lonely Street and turned off the ignition. I asked him what the problem was.Three men from nowhere came up quick behind me.
I began to weep in my spirit.What’s the meaning of this? Lord I know you don’t want me to miss that meeting, and I definitely won’t.

Who are these men and what do they want?
It just happened in a way I couldn’t tell,I began to talk without knowing what I was saying, something stronger than me had taken hold of me.
I turned and looking at the man holding the gun,there was fire in my eyes. “I command you in the name of Jesus to put that down, right now!!”
The next thing he did surprised both himself and his cohorts. He suddenly began to shake,and put down the gun.
“Enter the car!”
By this time the remaining three had no more control of themselves.
The next 45 minutes was the longest and most frightening 45 minutes of my life. I was in deep prayers in my heart,had to keep the control over the men.
The Lord opened my eyes,i began to see into the lives of these men.
” The Lord has a message for you” I began to talk them.I began to dig into their respective lives,their frustrations and the future that awaits them. At a point I was weeping almost. I was bleeding in my heart for these men. At a point I wasn’t the only one weeping. The man driving had to pull over by the roadside. Our cry went up with a loud voice. Mine for the pain I feel for the darkness they were in,theirs for guilt,for regrets.The spirit of God kinda arrested them. They became my prisoners at that moment.The man that pointed the gun looked up at me. “There’s something I must tell you.” He began to narrate his life.From a promising youth to a terrorist, a scoundrel,son of the night. I began to pray for him,laying my hands on his forehead. we are out of the car now. he other three came to kneel beside him .
As I finished praying, the men took a very deep breath.. They have seen the light.Darkness can never withstand the light. I had a burden for the guy that Pointed the gun.I took out my Bible.I gave it to him.
“Today, by the power of the holy spirit, I take away this gun. I arm you with this sword of the spirit.You shall no more destroy innocent lives and properties.. I’m sending you back to the darkness where you came from, as a flame,to destroy darkness…” I spoke into his life and destiny.He was badly shaking and crying aloud with a vengeance ,a new fire that burned against the darkness that had kept him in bondage for years.
I got to the conference that day ,but very late, but the spirit confirmed within me that I had been a useful vessel. He had sent me on an important mission.
I followed the men up,in prayers and counseling. Today,words cannot describe the fire that they have become. There’s power in the name of Jesus.
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father..”.
