Description
Deep in the mountains, far beyond the valley and across the rivers, lies a vast realm that
occupies acres and acres of land. This is Naturiah, a home for changelings. Changelings are
humans who can take the form of animals such as leopards, mountain lions, werewolves, deer,
swans, rats, cats, and many others.
In Naturiah, two changelings stand above the rest – the werewolves and the mountain lions
(also known as cougars/pumas). These creatures have been in conflict for centuries, fighting for
dominance over other species. They are the apex predators of nature. They live among humans,
seemingly like them, but with something more.
Fangs sharper than tungsten needles, capable of slicing through the skin of their prey with a
single bite. Claws stronger than the finest forged blades, capable of shredding an enemy in a
single blow. Silken pelts that are irresistibly soft to the touch.
These two species remained enemies for as long as anyone can remember, until centuries
ago, when both werewolves and mountain lions found peace. They coexisted and signed a treaty,
a bond that has never been broken. The mountain lions stepped aside for the werewolves to take
leadership of the land of Naturiah.
New rules were made for the betterment of the land. Outside their lands, they exercise
restraint on their basic instincts to better coexist with humans. But within their lands, they do
not suppress what they are: Powerful. Fearless. Highly sexual. Instinctive. Dominant. Predators.
There are rumors. Whispers in secret. Whispers in the pitch dark of the most powerful man
in Naturiah. The fiercest predator Naturiah has ever known. A man who is the 'impossible'.
Rumor has it that not only do his powers and strength exceed those of any human, but theirs
are nothing compared to his. He is their Alpha, an Alpha to surpass them all. The ultimate
Alpha. The Alpha King.
They think of him as a god. He is respected like one, feared like one… and worshipped like
one. They call him god… …because he is a cross between the two most powerful creatures. He
has the strength of a mountain lion and the power of a werewolf. He can take the form of a
mountain lion, a werewolf, or a man.
Why? Because he is a werewolf AND a mountain lion.
