Notice a missing name there? Kim Cattrall, who famously portrayed SATC character Samantha, won’t be returning for the new series.

Series creator Darren Star won’t be returning either, but Michael Patrick King — who won an Emmy for his work directing on the original series — will serve as the show’s Executive Producer.

THR says that production on And Just Like That will begin later this year in NYC (of course), and that the show will follow the characters “as they navigate friendship in their 50s.”
