On September 13, 1996, Tupac Shakur died from gun wounds after being shot in a drive by shooting six days earlier in Las Vegas. Though there have been numerous police investigations into the act, no one has been charged for the crime. The rap legend would have been 50 years old if he was still alive today.
Tupac was no stranger to the Billboard charts and the big screen, whose hits include “California Love,” “Changes,” and “Hit ‘Em Up” Here are some photos that show off his indelible style.
